In group-based tuition, where a tutor teaches multiple students at once, each group typically consists of 2 to 12 students who share the same learning category.

Advantages Of Group Based Tuition …

  • Encourages students to ask questions within the group.

  • Promotes discussions that allow students to learn from each other.

  • s teamwork, communication skills, and confidence in expressing ideas.

  • Inspires motivation and healthy competition among peers, leading to improved performance.

  • Enables Ripples Tutorials to stay focused on the AQA syllabus.

The 11Plus exam is a selective entrance test used in parts of the United Kingdom to determine admission into Grammar Schools and certain Independent Schools. Students preparing for the 11Plus are usually in Year 4 or Year 5, as the exams are taken in the early weeks of Year 6, when most pupils are between 10 and 11 years old.

This name was coined by Ripples Tutorials to refer to students that fall within Year 7 to year 9. These are Key Stage 3 students ages 11 to 13 who are starting early preparation for their GCSEs. At this stage, the goal isn’t heavy exam practice yet - it’s about laying strong foundations so that by Year 10, GCSE learning feels like a natural step up rather than a sudden leap.

These are Year 10 to 11 students (ages 14-16) in Key Stage 4 who are actively preparing for and sitting their GCSE exams.

GCSE Exams (short for General Certificate Of Secondary Education) are the main academic qualifications taken by most students in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland at the end of secondary school. * Usually taken by students in Year 11 (15 - 16-year-olds)
